Hagan Thomas-Jones

Biography

Hagan Thomas-Jones is the creator and Book writer of the new musical, "ModRock", his first produced work for the stage which had its World Premiere in June 2013 at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, California. Mr. Thomas-Jones, who has also written several un-produced motion picture screenplays, is the writing nom de plume of Tom Coleman.

Tom Coleman, also the Lead Producer of "ModRock", is an entertainment industry veteran. He was the sole founder and CEO of the Atlantic Entertainment Group an independent movie studio. Between 1975 and 1989 Atlantic distributed over 120 motion pictures and Mr. Coleman, personally, produced or Executive Produced 40 films including the 1978 Academy Award winning 'Madame Rosa", the teen film hits "Valley Girl" and "Teen Wolf", "Extremities", "1969" and many others. Mr. Coleman was also the founder, in 1998, of the RTV Television Network and the former Chairman of the Sun Network Group. Mr. Coleman is a principal in the Berlin based Lux Digital Pictures GmbH, a producer and distributor of feature documentaries, and the developer of New Broadway Cinema and the DigiTheater system. Mr. Coleman is an Executive member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a 1968 graduate of Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford, Ct., attended the Metropolitan School at Boston University and is, currently, an industry consultant for the Zurich Consulting Group based in Switzerland.
